Common questions

Booking, Timing and the 30-Minute Guarantee

Timing questions come up more than anything else, so here's exactly how it works.

How do I book online?

Fill in the form on our contact page and we'll call you back to confirm a time. Book online and the $50 off applies automatically, no code needed.

Are you really open 24/7?

Yes, every day of the year including weekends and public holidays. Ring any hour and a licensed plumber answers, not an answering machine.

What happens after I call?

We ask what's going on, get a plumber moving toward you, and confirm a fixed price on-site before any work starts. No surprises once we're in your driveway.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Every weekend, every public holiday, same as a normal Tuesday. Blocked drains don't check a calendar, so neither do we.

Common questions

Pricing and Offers

Money questions get straight answers, not a runaround.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. $0 call-out fee on every job, and the quote is free whether you go ahead with the work or not. You only pay for the job itself, once you've approved the price.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, no catch. A plumber inspects the problem, writes up a fixed price, and you decide. Walking away costs nothing.

What does "$50 off when you book online" cover?

It comes straight off your invoice when you book through our contact form rather than by phone. It stacks with the 10% seniors discount where both apply.

How do quotes work?

A plumber looks at the drain, explains what's wrong, and puts a fixed figure in front of you before touching a spanner. You approve it or you don't, no pressure either way.

Common questions

Local to Brookvale

A few questions specific to this part of the Northern Beaches.

How local are you, really?

Brookvale and the streets around it are part of our regular run, not an occasional detour. Our vans are through here most weeks, working everything from Pittwater Road shopfronts to the older cottages further back.

What suburbs do you service?

Brookvale plus Dee Why, Curl Curl, Beacon Hill, Allambie Heights and Freshwater. If your street sits nearby and isn't listed, call and we'll confirm. See our Dee Why, Curl Curl, Beacon Hill, Allambie Heights and Freshwater pages for more.

Do you work on strata and apartment blocks?

Yes. Brookvale has a real mix of older walk-up flats and newer apartments built into former warehouse sites, and shared drains in both need a plumber who understands common property rules before touching anything.

Do tree roots really get into pipes here?

Constantly, especially around the older residential pockets near Roger and Cross Streets where mature street trees sit close to ageing clay sewer junctions. A camera inspection shows exactly where roots have found a way in.

Common questions

Licensing and Responsibility

Who is allowed to do what, and what backs the work up.

Do wipes really block drains?

Yes, even ones labelled flushable. They stay whole instead of breaking apart, catch on rough joints inside the pipe, and slowly grow into a hard clog.

What warranty do I get?

A lifetime labour warranty on every drain we clear. If it's not right, we come back. No questions, no cost to you.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

For one slow sink, a plunger is fine to try first. Beyond that, chemical cleaners and rented equipment can make things worse, and drainage work itself is licensed-plumber territory under NSW law.

Are you licensed and insured?

NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, Master Plumber accredited, and covered by $20 million public liability insurance. Every plumber we send carries the same credentials.
